Sustainable Facilities Forum Leadership Awards
Join us for the Sustainable Facilities Forum Leadership Awards Luncheon on May 18th, 2023 at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center in Sacramento, California. The Leadership Awards annual celebration of accomplishment for those making a difference in the area of sustainability, in the environment, the education sector and in the State of California to the betterment of future generations.
We invite you to let us know about any projects you are aware of or feel should be acknowledged this year for their work in the below categories.
The categories are:
Local Government – Any structure, dwelling, garage, or shelter owned, leased, or otherwise occupied by the City and used for any municipal or public purposes by the City that has incorporated sustainable solutions that have changed the way that local government performs and manages.
State Government – A state government owned building that demonstrate the States goals in sustainability, decarbonization, resiliency or environmental benefits.
Pioneer – A person who begins or helps develop something new in the area of sustainability and prepares the way for others to follow.
Conservation – Prevention of wasteful use of a resource. Preservation, protection, or restoration of the natural environment and of wildlife.
K-12 Public School – A public school with noteworthy sustainability project or projects that have changed the way the school performs and manages.
Public College or University – A Community College or University project or program that creates change in the area of sustainability and environmental progress.
